Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers
With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Dylan brings a unique skillset to healthcare construction. An avid craftsman, Dylan honed his construction skills as a youth working in the field for his father’s general contracting business. With a budding interest in Construction Management, Dylan attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he graduated in 2008 with a BS in Building Construction.
After leaving Virginia Tech in 2008 and at the onset of the most recent recession, Dylan went to work for Allstate Insurance as a Field Property Adjuster for their National Catastrophe Team. This experience allowed Dylan to travel to catastrophe locations within the United States and act as a frontline representative for Allstate where he developed a passion for helping those in crisis. After employment with Allstate, Dylan returned home to Roanoke, VA where he spent a brief stint working for an emergency response/insurance restoration contractor as their Lead Construction Manager and Property Adjusting Consultant. Soon thereafter, Dylan accepted a position with Carillion Clinic within their Construction Project Management department where he has worked as a Project Manager for the past 5 years.
Dylan enjoys spending time in the outdoors and plays in numerous recreational adult athletic leagues, anchoring many in a leadership role. Residing in Roanoke, VA, Dylan spends many fall Saturdays rooting for his Hokies and working on his home.
