| Society Mission The Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers is the local chapter affiliated with the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). The primary mission is to improve and enhance our local healthcare facilities infrastructure, operations and maintenance through planning, education, cooperation, advocacy and design innovation. The society meets the second Monday of every month and provides a forum for our healthcare and professional affiliate members to discuss important topics that affect our local healthcare facilities such as:

Life Safety Seminar for Healthcare Facilities - October 25-27, 2010

Attend this three-day seminar encompassing the Management of the Environment of Care chapter for hospitals and Statement of Conditions compliance based on Life Safety Codes being taught by NFPA Professional Development and offered by Carilion Corporate University.
